Solid lap desk for working

This is a very solid little table/desk. It works well for using a laptop in bed or on the couch (as well as for eating, etc.). My one wish was that the segment that tilts up could be locked somehow - it can flop open when the desk is folded and I'm trying to move it around, which is awkward. There isn't an obvious solution to that. Also, I thought the top was wood from the images online - it's not. It's some sort of heavy/thick plastic that has been made to look wood-like.
