I was having a constant issue with water coming into my storage room and wanted something to come on automatically when it got to a certain height. I found this product at Canadian Tire and tried it. It is exactly what I needed and works perfect for my situation.

Q: My inground pool has a sump tube to the side to collect and remove ground water to reduce pressure build-up against the pool structure. The diameter of the sump tube is 8 inches. Will this unit with the attached on/off sensor fit?

A: The max I needed was 4' and it does a good job of it! Check the specs if it can pump up to 6' vertical!

Q: Customer service: I noticed and wanted to let you know that the conversions below in the product info are incorrect. 1” is 2.54cm Drains down to 1/8" (20 cm) The electronic float starts the pump when the water level reaches 1-3/4" (10 cm)

Q: Should the Burcam 1/6 HP Auto Utility Pump be used as a permanent sump pump? Because the description doesn't specifically mention this application. The plan is, of course, to leave it in the sump pump hole.

A: Unfortunately, this pump is not designed for a sump application. Manufactured for a general utility application for being rapidly and easily connected with a garden hose, its pumping capacity is not sufficient for being used in a sump.

A: Une flotte est toujours activé en position départ ou arrêt par un niveau d'eau.
