This 10kg bag of Sifto Safe Step ice salt will make short work of slippery winter conditions. The rock salt is crushed to an ideal size that melts ice down to -15 degrees Celsius while also providing traction on icy walkways and steps.The built-in handle makes spreading the salt simple and mess-free. The plain sodium chloride formula provides melt power without unwanted additives.

One star for gravity, five stars for entertainment. Slipped spectacularly while holding the 10-kg Sifto Safe Step Ice Salt bag. The bag added traction to the driveway, just not to me. Ice was defeated immediately after my fall. Bag performed perfectly. User error confirmed. Would fall again, but only once.

A: Not big pieces but not too fine either you want the size that this bag has medium sized and this product is very good for melting snow and ice and traction but over time will tend to clump in the bag unless you somewhat seal it up sort of!! That’s the only issue I’ve had!!

A: Sifto Safe Step Ice Melt products are not recommended to be used for roof melting applications. They should only use products specifically designed for melting ice on roofs. Q: Hi is thee Sifto Safe Step ice salt safe to use around pets

A: Safe Step Ice Melt is non-toxic, as it is the same salt that is in your salt shaker. However, it can cause skin irritation or burn existing cuts. So it is safe on a toxic level, but could irritate paws, especially injurred ones.
