I bought this to do some sanding on my Vehicle

I bought this to do some sanding on my Vehicle so I could do some touch ups to the finish. I also wanted to sand the lower part of the vehicle paint so I could apply rocker guard finish. It worked great, was easy to apply and change the sanding discs, and was much faster than hand sanding it.

A: While I don’t have a video handy, I used this product to sand my deck for staining/protection. For the front porch and back deck it was several hundred square feet of sanding. Towards the end I did melt the hook and eye of the plate that you attach the sandpaper discs to (we can’t say Velcro without paying a royalty I guess) Not the sander just the little hooks you need to affix the disposable discs. Thankfully I was still within the initial warranty period so I got that replaced at Can Tire with minimal fuss. I’ll be working on my backyard fence this summer using the same tool

Q: What is the bolt size that holds the pads, and it says 0-13000 opm is that truly the case i need low speed to polish marble..

A: Can't say for sure about the bolt size (item not at hand right now) but for the "polishing", be warned! 1) NOT rotating at all for real; 2) Can REALLY be set slow (like uselessly slow). To polish an epoxy-coated table, it was perfect. To polish my trailer before painting, forget it.

Q: I am trying to find/order the hook and loop pad that has stopped working. Each time i call the 1-888-670-6682 i get placed on hold and then disconnected after 10-15 minutes. Is there a part number and can it be bought somewhere else?

Q: What is the "Special Warranty" and why can't you list it here? The random orbital sander that is not "maximum" carries a 3-year in-store exchange warranty and this is supposed to be a better quality tool.

A: MX 0547556 carries 5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY, 1-YEAR Repair Warranty and 90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Due to the limited number of words displayed on the system, we can only mark it as Special Warranty. But these info were listed on the manual and color box.
