Q: Hi, would it stand up to sanding wood floor 6' x 14', 80 years old with most of the 5 paint layers stripped? It looks like maple. Thank you!
3 years agoA: Probably would stand up to the job, but it is a bit small, and would likely give you uneven results. Better rent a larger one. Maybe use this one around edges you can’t reach otherwise.

Q: Hello, Would you recommend using this sander to do a complete living room floor or should I look for something that is more heavy duty? ? The room is about 250 square feet. Thank you
3 years agoA: I wouldn’t use it for that. It would be very difficult to get an even result and not gouge the surface. Myself, I would rent a unit made for floors.

Q: The rubber ring is broken on the drive roller, where can I get the replacement parts? I asked the sales person in CTC, they told me to call customer service of MasterCraft, I cannot find any phone number online. It's out of warranty already. Thanks
4 years agoA: The phone number listed in the manual is 1-800-689-9928. The diagram and parts list does not show the rubber ring as a separate item from the Mounting Assembly.

4 years agoA: Please find other 3 x 21” (7.6 x 53.3 cm) sanding belts at CTR stores or website, such as 054-0544-8.
