(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this product complimentary from influenster in exchange for my honest review. I used Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch 2X Ultra Cover Gloss White on bare wood, and the results were disappointing. The paint took much longer than expected to dry, and even after multiple coats it didn’t provide a solid, opaque white finish—the wood grain still showed through. Despite the “2X coverage” claim, the coverage felt thin without using a primer first. While the gloss finish looks decent once dry, I wouldn’t recommend this product for wood projects unless you properly prime beforehand or are prepared to apply several coats.

Good coverage-and innovative

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Truly enjoyed working with the Painter’s Touch 2x 5-in-1 paint spray can! It’s pratical and we could use the different can dials to touch-up various projects! This system is innovative and useful if you need a simple touch-up or use it on a larger area. We used it on a variety of material like metal, plastic and wood and it covers well and evenly! Our main test was on a large wood board along the front side of the house and even if some other layers will be needed (we tried on a snowy day!) the first layer looks almost perfect! I would recommend it for differrent projects around the house but make sure the room you are in is well ventilated! Use your imagination & enjoy the renovation!

Only one cost of paint needed

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really liked this spray can from painters touch in matte black. What I really liked was the different options of sprays available. For my bird house project I used setting spray 4, which was the perfect consistency. I simply needed one coat of the spray to get the desired look I was going for. Great product.

Quality paint with easy application

The texture of the paint was perfect for the task and dried nicely not clumping up in the grooved lines. The finished dried appearance is consistent and uniform! Definitely will purchase this product again

Good paint bottle

I really liked the dial for selecting the desired spray pattern. The settings are clearly labeled and I tried them all. I painted some small metal parts and ultimately opted for the lowest intensity setting. I was able to easily apply several coats because the paint dried quite quickly. The finish is sufficiently vibrant and the product met my expectations.

A: Hi Suzanne, Great question! For extra durability, we recommend applying our Painter's Touch Ultra Cover 2X clear finish overtop. You can apply the clear finish after 24 hours from your last coat. If more than 7 days surpasses from your last coat, we recommend a light scuff sand first using 220 grit sandpaper.

A: Hi Marsha, Great question! Unfortunately, our Painter's Touch 2X will not hold up to foot traffic. If you still want to give it a try, you will need to reapply often for maintenance.
