The Rust-Oleum® Specialty Glow In The Dark Max Interior/Exterior Aerosol Spray Paint is a superior luminous paint that creates a glowing effect in the dark after being charged by natural or artificial light. Glow in the Dark MAX glows two times stronger than the leading Glow in the Dark paint. It offers superior glow power for easier visibility in the dark and the glowing effect can last up to 4-8 hours under optimal conditions. It can be applied to wood, metal, drywall, ceramic, plastic, and more. Periodic re-application may be needed for outdoor use. For spray paint “Apply Outdoors”. Apply over a white or light covered surface. Object will need to charge for several hours before the glowing effect will occur

Glow in the dark spray paint

Not happy with this product. I shook the can. Sprayed a little on black metal and the colour just wasn't there. I will be returning it to the store.

It don’t even glow

Not anything glamorous at all it don’t even glow :( I have rocks and stumps at camp that I spray with glow paint I decided to try the glow max for 48$ a can what a waste of money

For the brightest glow, we recommend the use of a Rust-Oleum Primer first for superior adhesion and hiding. Then you can apply 3 light coats of the paint, a few minutes apart. Once dry, you can charge the coating with natural or artificial light for 6-8 hours for the brightest glow. Waste of Money

Does not glow or work. Appears like a cloudy green colour and it is not luminescent at night.

Q: i want to spray this on a dark paperlike item for outdoor decorating, will this work on dark items or need to have a white base coat painted on the items first?

A: For the brightest glow, we recommend applying this product over a white or light colored surface. The use of a white Rust-Oleum primer will also provide excellent adhesion. As well, a periodic re-application may be needed for exterior surfaces.

Q: Rustoleum Max Glow in the Dark spray paint. Is this paint clear?

A: The Glow Max paint has a transluscent milky color to it. It is barely visible on light surfaces like white, but may be more conspicuous on dark surfaces.

Q: If sprayed on rocks would it glow and animal safe ?

A: The Specialty Glow in the Dark paint will glow on outdoor stones provided they receive a good daylight charge. The product is not toxic once dry, but should not be ingested. It's best not to apply this product to surfaces an animal might chew on.
