Good entry level car seat

Good entry level car seat used for an occasional use vehicle. The seat itself looks pretty comfy and well padded and he seems to like it. The cupholders are not great. And the "turn knob" to retract the belt is sort of a pain to use in rear facing mode as it is squished against the seat back. But I'm sure this will be better in forward facing mode. Overall good seat for the pricepoint. 4/5 Stars.

Very disappointed!

We bought this car seat not even a year ago and the styrofoam has cracked! Not only has it cracked in places, but the clips holding the styrofoam down have literally detached from the foam and sunk inside, causing the foam to move and almost detach from the seat. It is not safe for my child at all. It’s never been in an accident so there’s no reason for this car seat to be breaking. I will be finding a new car seat for my son.

The foam is designed to help absorb energy if involved in an impact and can still absorb that energy even if it is cracked or broken, so even if the foam is broken or cracked in large pieces and fits together such as a puzzle piece the seat can still be safely used. Loved this car seat. It was easy to install. It was comfortable for my son, he used to hate being in the car until we got this seat. It’s easy to adjust and switch from front to rear facing.
