Bought it 1 month ago, works great and very happy with the purchase. Does a great job purifing the air. The hot works well when set to a temperature. The cold is misleading, it's just a fan circulating room temp air.

Useless software

I bought this before our heat was shut off for an ill timed renovation. Software update will not let you schedule or control the heat from the phone as is used to. No ability to roll back to previous versions. Display is lacking quality to you would expect for this price point. Less features than previous versions.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Love My Dyson

I wasn't totally convinced on how well this air cleaner would work until the second day when a bit of popcorn had burnt in the pan. It was a fairly strong odour and very quickly the air purifier detected it, kicked the fan up and registered a high particle count. It did not take very long before the odor was gone and the fan brought the air cleanliness back to normal. The app is a great feature as well to turn on and view the stats for the air quality. Two thumbs up! 👍👍

This thing has been a game changer in our house. The air purifier works perfectly and keeps the air clean and fresh. The heat function works great and warms up the room quickly, and while the cool setting is more like a fan than AC, it still does an excellent job moving air and keeping things comfortable.
What really sold me was Thanksgiving dinner — my wife accidentally spilled something in the bottom of the stove and the kitchen quickly filled with smoke and strong odors. I rolled this unit in, pointed it toward the stove, and within no time it not only made the room smell better but actually pulled the smoke out of the air and got everything back to normal fast. That alone made it worth every penny.
It’s like having three devices in one: purifier, heater, and fan. Quiet, powerful, sleek, and extremely effective. I’d buy it again without hesitation and highly recommend it.

Q: Two questions. How fast can it heat a room... I'm guessing this depends on size? Can you program for it to turn on a various times during the day/night? How often should the filter be replaced? How much electricity does it use?

A: Regarding the heating of a room - depends on the size of the room and how warm you want it. I've got a 12x15 room and warming from 17-23C takes about 45 mins. It is fully programmable, you can have it come on during specific conditions. Ie temperature, air quality drops below a specific level, or on a time schedule. Time schedule can turn on the fan or heat.

Q: I just got this machine last month. Today it suddenly released a bad smell like burning plastic. I was wondering if I can bring it back Canadian Tire for an exchange. I had contacted with Dyson Support, but it was out of stock at the moment.
