I didn't realize how dangerous it could be for and older person handling this bowl
Really disappointed this time usually outstanding quality

Photo does not match item. Glass bowl unfortunately does not have the silicone base (I believe that’s the old model).

Glass bowl broke right away

Was beautiful until it wasn’t. I just got this glass bowl for Christmas from my son. I went to put on mixer and it fell in part. Almost sliced my hand open. How does this happen? Very dangerous. Would not recommend

Not Good/Bad Quality

I just got this Bowl for Christmas and when going to use i split in two almost cutting my hand open. Must have been chip or crack in it before I used it. So disappointed in the quality. I love my Artesian Mixer. Would not recommend to any one since it is too dangerous. What if glass had chipped into my bread?

How on earth did it crack?

I loved my glass mixing bowl! I loved it for making my sourdough bread. However, the other day after removing my dough, I noticed a crack through the glass from the bottom around the curve of the bowl all the way to the top. I can't think of anything that was done to cause this crack. I bought the bowl in November and no longer have the receipt. I'm so very sad. And with the cost - which is reasonable for the bowl - I don't want to shell it out for a second bowl that might have the same thing happen again especially since I'm seeing other reviews with similar experiences. I do love KitchenAid, but I'd pass on this beautiful glass mixing bowl.
