Q: Can this start a 5.3 to 6 liter v8 engine in the winter?
a year agoA: This jump starter is recommended for use on gas engines up to 7 litres. As for the winter aspect, the self-heating technology helps boost performance in extreme cold temperatures (up to -30 degrees Celsius). Please keep in mind that at higher temperatures, the unit able to achieve greater performance.

Q: how to change language?
a year agoA: Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. This will reset the unit. Once powered on again, it will prompt you to select language as well as whether you want the low charge alarm enabled.

Q: If by yourself, where do you set this? It shows someone holding it, where do you put it when you have to get in the car to start it?
a year agoA: You can rest the unit on any stable surface under the hood, including on the battery itself.

Q: In the user manual, the DC outlet is stated as 15V DC whilst the features state that it is for powering 12V devices. Which is correct?
a year agoA: The DC port operates between a range of about 11 to 15 volts, depending on the state of charge of the unit. For example, when fully charged, it's closer to 15V. This would be similar to the "cigarette lighter" in a vehicle whose voltage is higher when the engine is running (13.5 to 15V) compared to when the car is off (12.5 to 13V). It is compatible with the vast majority of "12V" devices. However, certain devices that have high-voltage protection, such as a power inverter that shuts down if input voltage exceeds 15V, may not operate if/when the EasyBoost is at full charge.
