Great Unit for small spaces

We already have one we use in our travel trailer which works great , has 2 heat settings and 2 oscillating settings as well. The fan is pretty quiet as well so we decided to get one for the home as well. The most important reason for choosing this heater is that it doesn’t have the terrible toxic smell that many heaters have, even after burning off the manufacturing smell.

This works great for a small room.

It looks very modern and sleek. Have had it for a couple months now. We use it in a cold bedroom or sometimes when being in the basement for a while. It doesn't oscillate very widely but we technically don't need it to have that option. It is nice and quiet which was a nice upgrade from our last unit that burned out. Heat doesn't "blast" out like the cheap models but works nicely for a smaller area. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Q: How do you take the side panels off? I need to clean the dust because the heater stopped working due to it. I see the 2 handles on the white panels but I don't know what you mean by slide them to the right to take them off?

A: I need to edit my previous answer. Don't just list the back edge of the side panel upward. Lift it upward by the edge with the finger tab, and at the same time push the panel from the front edge toward the back edge. There are hooks inside the panel all around the perimeter, which fit into notches in the frame. The panel must be lifted up along the back edge with the tab, and at the same time slid from the front edge toward the back edge with the tab.

A: 2.1 Remove side panel and filter Lift the side panel handles on both sides up and slide them back at the same time, so that the side panel sliders are released. 2.2 Fan assembly, PTC heater, front net and outlet. Place your finger on the filter and the housing groove, then gently lower the filter.

Q: Does the unit shut off completely (including the fan) when it reaches the preset temperature level and turn on automatically when the ambient temperature drops below it? I know many other heaters keep the fan blowing at all time.

A: There is a protection oil covering the heating element so there may be a small smell at the very begining, like half hour, after that it wouldn't smell anymore.
