Open box and check them out before buying

Bought these for my daughter for Easter Opened the box and they were used with a bunch of paint stuck to the light strip and they weee broken. Very disappointed

Few issues with it. The least of which is the inadequate adhesive and getting only 4 brackets to hold it up. It keeps falling to the point I used double sided tape to help but it also fell off that and left the tape on the wall until I get fed up and super glued it to the double side tape. The app is terribly slow to adjust or change the light and if you set up Google Home so you can use your voice, expect a much longer delay. Using voice commands also can't change the colour to white, it tries by mixing the RGB to get a yellow ish white with red mixed in depending on which angle you look at it, it can't adjust the brightness when of the coloured lights, if you want to go to proper white, load the app and select it and you'll have voice control over the brightness and power but you can't go to the coloured light. That's his be manually done.
Over $80 after taxes and it can't stay on the wall, let alone work smoothly or adequately. But to their credit, it does look nice when you set it up.

Great Features

I was really looking forward for an LED light strip thats been trending for sometime but I was afraid of the cheap materials and poor remote controller with not a variety of colours. This is what I've been looking for; easy to use and not lose control with my phone (Noma IQ app) with great changing colours and good materials. On top, it is dimmable, which I wasn't expecting but works great

Pretty good, but light bundling isn't great

Overall very happy with the product, with the only complaint being that the light bundling is not the greatest. This is especially noticeable with colours such as yellow, where you can clearly see the component LEDs (green and red). Using a diffuser would probably alleviate this, but unfortunately the product does not come with one.

Q: I have a reading nook in a recessed space (about 5' high and 5' wide. Is this bright enough to read by if I'm sitting 3-5 feet away?

A: Yes I think it should be bright enough. It lights up my small bedroom underneath the staircase when I need to read my spell books.

A: Thank you for your question. This is an indoor rated tape light. It cannot be extended. Each unit will require its own power source; however, multiples can be grouped together to function in sync with each other.
