Rude and ignorant return experience

Product was returned as it didnt hokd a charge. The customer service for the return was extremely rude and overly complicated. I will likely rethink buying anything from this location again.

Q: I replaced the battery with a regular AA, coz it was not bright enough with the included solar battery. Is that okay?

A: No! Always use a solar battery. A regular AA battery will reduce the lifespan of the solar light. If brightness is what you want, purchase a larger solar, or better yet, buy an electric sourced light. It will be brighter!

Q: @DIYDayKnight references 3 settings - brightness / time / sensitivity. How are these set / controlled? The only control I see is the on/off switch (no test )..

A: there is no control on this light. At night it will stay on at a low light all the time and then turns on bright with motion. Very bright at full volume.These have worked well for me letting the dog out at night.

Q: Picked this up yesterday;no box, tag or instructions. Found on/off switch. Is there a tab to be removed from the battery? Where is the battery? Is there a plastic film on the solar panel that should be removed first? (I tried but it seems pretty stuck on)

A: No tab to be removed. Batteries are housed in unit, with screwed on plate. No need to touch Batteries. On / off / test should be on switch. No plastic to remove from solar panel. Mount solar panel. Aim for most light (sun does not have to always be shining) but keep solar panel away from shadow of trees, eaves, etc. Let charge for 1 or 2 days. Turn on. Unit should have 3 setting, 1 for brightness 1 for length of time , one for sensitivity.... how far close you want light to activate, these settings take a little time to perfect
