Microwavable Pressure Cooker

Grew up with parents who swore by the stove top pressure cooker, this unit provides the same quality of meals within a shorter time frame. Most meals are done with 10 - 25 minutes on high. It is a 4 quart unit and would easily recommend for families up to 4 people, with teenagers, it is not big enough for larger groups. It was an impulsive purchase and have no regrets!

Cet appareil est beaucoup plus un cuit-vapeur de luxe pour four à microonde qu'un autocuiseur ou autoclave comme le prétend la publicité. Il ne remplace pas un véritable autoclave, mais il est très efficace comme cuit-vapeur, car il profite de la vitesse du microonde pour cuire à peu près tout entre 4 et 20 minutes selon les aliments (viande, volaille, poisson, fruits, légumes, oeufs, sauces, etc.). Sa capacité volumique totale réelle se situe au 2/3 de 3.2L, soit ±2.2L, ce qui est normal pour tout appareil à cuisson hermétique. Il est très utile pour les petites quantités que l'on veut cuire rapidement et sans flafla. Il est facile d'entretien, car il suffit de le rincer, de l'essuyer et de l'entreposer dans le microonde, donc aucun espace perdu. Au final, il remplacera tous les accessoires de votre microonde, de votre bain-marie et autre cuit-vapeur. Je le recommande sans hésiter quand il est offert en solde significatif, car son prix de détail suggéré de cent dollars est honteusement exagéré. À ce prix, je vous recommanderais plutôt de vous munir d'un véritable autoclave électrique programmable qui acceptera facilement des recettes trois fois plus volumineuses, mais pour les petites quantités, pour sa rapidité d'exécution et pour une efficacité remarquable, c'est celui-ci qu'il vous faut. En bonus, il est fabriqué en Inde pour la société Meyer de Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 2C8, ce qui est rassurant quant aux pièces de remplacement au besoin.

Je l'ai ai acheté et je étais septique mais je dois avouer que le poulet goûté vraiment juteux . Tout est bon dans cet autocuiseur sécuritaire . Je ai pas essayer les autres recettes mais vraiment bon.

A: Le livret vous offre 43 recettes, suffisamment pour vous ouvrir sur un monde infini de recettes. Pour ce qui est du «joint supplémentaire», il s'agit de la petite valve de sécurité (bleue) en silicone. La boîte en contient deux en tout.

Q: What is the part number for the Gasket replacement? Do you carry the gasket replacement in the store?

A: No part number.There's only one gasket, so it's easy to identify. IMO, the gasket will last you a life-time. A silicone gasket doesn't dry up like rubber gaskets do. FYI, the cooker is made in India for Meyer Inc., located in Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 2C8.

A: Kindly note that initially 50ml of water is required for 900 watt Microwave. Over and above that you require 15ml of water per minute of cooking. For example if you have a recipe which calls for 10 minute of cooking you require (50 ml + 15ml*10) = 200 Ml of water.
