This Mastercraft Socket Set keeps you prepared for any project with 184 convenient pieces. This tool set includes screwdriver bits, combination wrenches, accessories and sockets to help you get the job done right. It features both SAE and metric sockets as well as an assortment of standard, metric, shallow and deep sockets in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive sizes. The wrenches in this socket set have a 60-tooth ratchet mechanism with a 6° swing arc, as well as a quick-release button with a reversing lever to securely hold a socket. Set complet et accessible

J'ai acheté ce set ce mois-ci (décembre 2025) et j'en suis très satisfait. J'aime le fait que les douilles sont facilement délogeables car comparé à d'autres sets semblables, les douilles sont installées dans du plastic dur pour qu'elles restent en place et c'est très difficile de les déloger à la main lorsque installés à leurs endroits dédiés sur les autres sets. Cependant ceci favorise certainement que les douilles restent en place quand le set le boîtier est fermé et transporter mais l'utilisation manuelle pour sortir les douilles est un facteur négatif pour ce genre de set comparé à ce set.
Le seul point négatif est que ce set vient avec un genre de mousse pour que les douilles restent en place lorsque le boîtier est fermé et transporté et cette mousse n'est tout simplement pas efficace et n'empêche en rien les douilles de se déplacer lors du transport du boîtier.
J'ai remédié à la situation en fabriquant moi-même une sorte de forme en carton que j'ai découpé à la forme du boîtier à l'interne, et ce, pour que les douilles restent en place. Ceci agit comme un espace à combler entre le dessus des douilles et le dessus du boîtier à l'interne. J'ai aussi collé une mousse à un endroit stratégique pour que les sets de Allan restent aussi en place et ne bouge pas non-plus lorsque le boîtier est transporté. J'ai même ajouté une lanière aussi à un autre endroit stratégique pour que certaines pièces à l'interne restent en place lorsque le boîtier est transporté.

The set as a whole is good, the only issue is the case as when closed the pieces do not stay in place and need to be resorted each time which is a pain.

Great starter set

Got this on sale. It has all the socket sizes I need for some beginner DIY.
I like it comes with the 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch drives. Before this, I never used a socket set or understood what these numbers mean. It is great to have them available as I encounter problems without needing to go out to get additional tools!

A: The sockets will work, but it is not recommended as they are not impact rated sockets and could break from the high torque. It is recommended to get an impact socket set that is made of CRMO steel and can withstand high torque.

Q: Why did I pay more Why did I just buy this set exact set yesterday for 89.99????? Why is the website price different??? Why did the case break open at the hinge when I first opened it on the first day???

A: Depends on your location. I got it on a long term sale for $68.99 and mine included a bonus 9 peice external torx set. Can. Tire wil price match any price on their website if you justgo down to your local store within 30 days, and as for the case breaking, may as well return it and get a new one while you get your price match. Gotta remember this set is more than half off so cant complain too much! The boxes only have a 1 year warrenty and they arent the greatest, but if taken care of they will lat quite a wile. All the tols have a liftime warreny tho.
