j'ai réussi a sortir une vis brisée du manche de mon rabot en genre deux secondes. j'ai lubrifiée avec de l'huile 3:1 pour percer et l'outil à fonctionner du premier coup. je comprends pas les mauvais avis. aller y doucement et ça va bien aller

Ended up working but I have comments

After reading all of the bad reviews, I still went ahead and got a kit anyways as I was in a rush and didn’t have time to order one online from somewhere else. So here’s my 2 cents.
Did it end up working for my situation? Yes. It did. So that’s good. Did it take time
And trial and error? Yes.
Should the kit come with instructions? ABSOLUTELY. Canadian tire should provide instructions.. From what I saw while shopping online, every kit is somewhat different. Some need to be hammered in, some not. Some YouTube videos show using a drill to extract, some not. I had to try a few different methods. For me, hammering it in and turning it with a pair of vice grips worked best. But like I said there was lots of trial and error involved.
Also, the drill bits are awful and flimsy and not strong at all. The first time I used one, I was applying pressure to try and make a hole in the screw for the extractor to go into and it bent with not too much pressure. Ended up using an old bit I had from Black & Decker… Canadian tire needs to make this kit much stronger. We’re drilling into nails and bolts which requires a certain amount of force..
Canadian tire, if you’re reading this, how about sending me a new bit?;)
