A: I'm using it freestanding. It comes with a couple of omega-shaped clips that can anchored with screws (not included) to the wall.

A: There are no metal pieces, but as the other responder suggested, it's not clear how the materials will respond to heat and sun, or freezing, or if exposure would make it brittle.

Q: Could we buy 2 units and add shelves to make an 8 shelf unit? Could the unit be shortened? We need to store 40 bins that are 10" wide and 8" high without much wasted space. Also, we have another shelf above where we would want to place this shelf so do not have 72" height.

A: One responder said no, but I bought one in early 2024 and it looks like yes, but I haven't tried it. It's essentially made up of small posts, each the height of the standard/displayed shelf separations that insert into each other. The shelves can be readjusted to sit at various insert marks along these small poles. Zoom into the image and you can see rings etched into the poles. There are collars that slide along the poles, and are squeezed when the shelf hole is pushed over them. The collars have a ridge that inserts into the etched rings on the poles that "seal" the shelf to the pole as they are pushed together (the shelf down, the collar up). As a result, this should be interchangeable between units. However, units of different ages/model generations might have slightly different dimensions that make them incompatible. Again, I emphasise that I have not tried it.

A: There are several reasons why your unit is leaning. Floor Gould be undeveloped, you did not fasten the unit to the wall with the clamps provided, or the unit was assembled improperly

Q: The description says 4 shelves and 5 shelves, holds 600 pounds and 1000 pounds, is 32 inches wide and 36 inches wide. Which is it?

A: It is 5 shelves. 200 pound capacity for each shelf spread out. Adjustable every 4 inches in height. Measures 36 inches wide, 13.5 inches deep and 73.5 inches from the floor to the top. Hope this helps.

Q: Are the shelf heights infinitely adjustable? Or are there specific pole heights you have to follow? I need shelves to store some tall totes and need to make sure these shelves will do that!

A: Hello , The shelves can be raised or lowered in increments of 4” to a maximum height of 72”. One shelf is recommended per pole section. So 5 shelves are required in order to build the unit to the full 72” Thank you Rosanna Customer Service
