The Mastercraft 3 ¼” Planer Blades 2-Pack contains double-edged blades constructed from durable carbon steel for faster, more efficient cutting overall. These versatile blades are intended for use with Mastercraft electric planers (054-6622 and 054-6602), but can also serve as powerful replacement blades for any compatible floor planer. These Mastercraft planer blades are fully reversible, allowing you to extend the overall tool life by flipping the blade once the teeth are worn down on one side. Two planer blades are included in this kit, so you’ll be able to conveniently replace the first blade right away and continue to work on your project.

J'ai demande des explications , mais pas convaincu.
Le directeur a ete tres comprehensif et m'a remis un credit.
Canadian tire reste mon magasin préféré et le directeur y fait pour beaucoup.

an aluminum planer blade for wood, ?metal? and drywall? interesting I want to watch someone try that. do I get 1 year warranty if I take it across a chunk of steel? that's what it's designed for.

Good blades, easy to replace.

The blades appear of good quality, but I had to replace my original ones because of hidden 18 Guage staples, so I would not believe the claim that these are good for metal.

Q: I am looking for replacement blades for my 3.25" Mastercraft Hand Planer Model 54-6623-4. Your have the bladed online for the 54-6622 . Will the 54-6622 fit the 54-6623-4. IF not do you have the ones that will fit it. Thanks Dan

A: I'm probally too late but that Model 54-6623-4 has 2-Makita blades inside the unit and if you go to Makita's home web page and search for 3 1/4" blades you will find those ones you need. Also click on their "Where to Buy" button for more info. I found mine at Home Hardware. Good Luck!!

Q: at what degree are they sharpened

A: We're going to answer this 2 ways. 1. The blades are sharpened to an angle of 50° 2. We do not recommend/suggest the user actually re sharpen the blades as the removal of material needs to be equal on both blades in order for the rotating mass to stay in balance. We recommend if a blade becomes worm or damaged the user replaces the blades.
