I bought this leaf blower with what I thought were reasonable expectation for the price. When I used it I thought wow that battery didn't last long. When I put the second battery on I decided to time how long it lasted. It went from full to dead in less then 5 mins. I soo disappointed I returned it to ghe store later that day.

The runtime will be dependent on the speed setting and the higher speeds, such as turbo, will drastically lower runtime received. A: The battery shipped with the unit is anemic at best. 15 minutes is typical.

A: The problem is a defective control switch, NOT the battery. Return for a new blower.

A: Difficult question to answer. The blower has variable speed. I can generally do both front and back yards on one charge. If you get a chance buy something that uses the same battery, so you have a backup. I’m quite happy with the blower overall.

A: The contacts in the switch become worn due to arcing. You will need to replace the switch (Jiaben DAW-2518E 25A) or take the switch apart and clean the contacts with sandpaper or file.

A: It will certainly plug in. It's a smaller 1.3mah battery however, so how much usage, if any, would be in question. It says 1.5ah batteries work, so 1.3 should... just shorter run time. And maybe not full blower strength.

Q: How does operational time performance compare to the brushed version of the blower in the combo kit of the same Masrecraft tool family?

A: Hello, the operation time mainly depends on the battery used and the way of working. As to service life, since the brushed motor is limited by the carbon brushes, which create heat during using, normally the brushless motor has a relatively longer service life than the brushed one.
