    This bench saw is small and compact but does an extraordinary job. It is capable of cutting all types of wood commonly used in construction. It can rotate up to 45 degrees for angle cuts and it comes with plenty of accessories such as extensions to be able to cut large pieces. I love that it is easy to transport! I highly recommend it!

    I've been using high end tablesaws at work for years. I have to say that this saw really holds up to the competition. The motor is plenty powerful. I love that it can use batteries from several brands. Very happy with this saw.

    Portable design. I bought this item as a gift to my dad, and he is currently working with our backyard before the winter comes. He uses a big electric table saw which is permanently in our garage, so he needs to go back and forth to cut some lumber. Perfect timing when I bought this Mastercraft table saw. It is very easy to set up. there is no need for long wires as it comes with 20V Max Battery. Works efficiently with its 8 1/4 inch-40 tooth carbide tipped saw blade. The tabletop surface is big enough to work on different projects. It also comes with a 0-60 degree left and right miter gauge, and tool Free guard for safety use. The best of all, my dad loves it.

    Q: can you use a different size blade? 8 1/4 inch are hard to find.

    • A: 8-1/4" saws are a growing trend in the tool category. As they continue to grow in popularity, more blades will be introduced to the assortments at all retailers. Currently, at CT, you can choose from items 54-0830, 54-0831, and 55-6953. Saws are designed and safety tested to strict standards that includes the size of the saw blade. Using a different size blade will represent a safety risk, and is definitely not recommended.
