Taps do not fit chuck

Poorly machined chuck. Bits and taps don't fit or the small ones are too loose. Useless. Going back to store to return.

Functional set and good value

To be honest, I was hesitant when I saw these two one star reviews, however I still got it since it's so cheap. So long story short, just to address the first concern. All of the tap FIT into the wrench. Just like any compression bit holders, if it gets too tight you may just need to insert something like a flathead screw driver to make it bigger. The second concern, yes these drill bits and tap can break if you put too much pressure or running at high head speed for too long. Go slow and let the bits/tap do the work. Also, a little bit of cutting oil is your best friend when working on metal. So far I have done 24 #4 holes with the kit on 1/8 aluminum panel without any issues. YouTube is the best resource if you are new to drilling/tapping. Just to get yourself some idea what to expect when tackle the task.

Poor design, waste of money

Great idea that was poorly executed. The taps don't fit properly into the handle and adapter - the smallest tap would be too loose for the adapter, while the largest tap won't event fit into it.

the drill that I was using broke very easily so I had to buy another drill. I then used the tap and it broke too!!!

A: Mastercraft 13pc Tap and Drills Set is packaged in a plastic case. It does not come with a pouch or tool box. The taps and bits are placed in two inserts inside the case.
