Q: Do I need a height gauge to change these blades?

A: It might help if you have been sharpening them but there is a spring preload. Mainly they are required to be matched with the other bade. This can be done with your own gauge if needed.

Q: Will these blades work in the 55-5515-6 planer? I can’t find the blades for this machine anywhere and it’s a shame to throw it out because it runs like it’s new.

A: MIBRO does not carry height gauges for the planer blades. These may be offered by the manufacturer of the planer equipment.

A: These replacement blades are for the Canadian Tire bench top planer, SKU# 55-5504. Unfortunately we do not know if they will fit a Delta planer.
