THIS PRODUCT HAVE TWO INDUCTIONS BUT ONLY ONE OF THEM WORK AT A TIME. SO, IF SECOND ONE IS ON, HEAT WILL NOT BE ENOUGH TO COOK FOOD.

Both induction surfaces can be used simultaneously. While this model uses a 'power sharing' system at peak demand, the right burner provides up to 1050-watts and the left up to 750-watts. Induction burner keeps failing

I bought one of these several weeks ago and within two or three days it had started giving error messages. It kept turning off, so I took it back and got another one and it worked very well for about two weeks and it started giving the same error messages. I was hoping that the first one was just a lemon, but now I realize that the whole thing is a bad design, taking it back and will not get another.

Q: My cook top resets the temp to 1 after a couple of minutes of use. It does not show a error message. Does this mean my stove is somehow damaged?

A: Are you using both burners at once as we have found it best to just use one burner at a time. The resetting to temperature level 1 after a few minutes is not normal? I would say only use one burner at a time and if that does not change anything your device is defective. Contact the manufacturer for a repair/replacement as soon as possible.

Q: Is there some sort of trick for pressing the buttons? It seems to be very hit or miss (mostly miss) if they'll do anything when I press them.

A: I have found I need to unplug it to restart and to be sure I am using proper magnetic pots.It is frustrating!

Q: Do you have to use certain pots and pans for this?. I have read that some cookware will not work Ex. will t-fal or rock cookware work ?

A: Hi Kate, all induction cookers require ferrous (iron based) cookware. This includes cast iron, enameled iron, stainless steel and i'm sure there's others. The trick is if a magnet sticks to the cookware it's induction ready.

Q: Does the entire burner area have heating points or is it in a ring? Past induction elements I've used have had a ring of heating points and the middle of the element produced no heat.

A: There are 2 elements, the largest side is 8" in diameter so it will handle a 10" fry pan/pot no issue. The smaller side is 6" in diameter and handles 8" pan/pot. Its a good buy.
