Did not work for me. The only thing it did was increase the safe temperature by around 4 degrees; the humidity remained constant at around 64%. It was also burning hot on one end of the rod. I don't want to be concerned about burning myself when I reach into the safe to retrieve a rifle. I was hoping to get the humidity around 50%, and after waiting for five days for it to do its thing, I feel it's time to try something else.
