Polarized. Very rugged! Very easy to connect inside; all that is needed is a flat head screwdriver. Once closed, it grips the wire ends tightly. No hassles.

I’ve had plugs where you simply bare the wires and push it into a hole. This is not one of those. You must bend the wires around a post and tighten the screw down
