It's discontinued for reason

I needed a new moka pot that was induction compatible. This model worked. I used it daily for a few months and the handle got looser and looser until a family member broke it while trying to open it. It was under warranty so I brought it in and got a free exchange. I used the second one daily for two months. This one changed colour on the bottom turning iridescent brown and began to rust on the inside bottom. With every use the rusting got worse. It must have been the induction cook top. Stainless steel? Not so stainless. I brought it back and all the Canadian tires in my city were out of stock so I got a store credit.

A: I use mine on the propane stove in motorhome with no issues. I have another in the house on electric stove that's 5 yrs old. No issues.

Q: Bonjour, j ai acheté un modèle de ce genre d une autre compagnie. Après 3 mois elle perd de l eau par en dessous au point de ce vider. J aimerais savoir si ce modèle fuit après un certain temps merci de votre réponse

Q: do you sell replacement O rings? O rings are like a gasket that prevent the steam from escaping between the top half and the bottom half of the espresso maker.

Q: how does it make? does this espresso pot actually make six cups (48 ounces) or does it just make enough for 6 of those thimbles they drink espresso out of?

A: Lagostina’s espresso maker has been designed to be used to make delicious espresso coffee. To enjoy your espresso, it should be served in traditional espresso cups – also called demitasse which have a capacity of roughly 2-3 fl oz (60-90 ml). The espresso cups are smaller than regular coffee cups and are usually made of thicker porcelain, designed to keep the aroma and temperature of the espresso warm longer.
