Questions
Q: I see this box has handles on the sides. They look like they are open to the inside. My concern is critters getting into the box. (Currently the squirrels are eating my patio cushions). Can anyone tell me if they go straight through to the inside?

Q: Is this storage box rodent proof or can mice get in the seam around the lid?
3 months agoA: We've had a few of these storage boxes for 5 years now and have never seen evidence of rodents within. We have rodents on our property and they tend to make nests in our shed over the winter - but not in our storage boxes. That said, given that rodents can flatten their bodies to enter through the smallest of crevices, I suppose it might be possible for them to get into the box. If you're concerned about this, you could place a lock on the unit (it cpmes with a latch for a lock) and weigh down the lid. That said, we don't lock ours and haven't had issues with rodents.
