Huntshield Men's Elite Tracker Hunting Boots

Achetées en solde, ces bottes sont excellentes pour le prix. Elles sont confortables, assez chaudes et surtout, elles sont imperméables.

I'm wearing them in the city so far to try to break them in before season starts. The good: The Vibram sole. The upper is stiff and gives a good ankle support, which is good for hilly terrain. It seems to be really waterproof (under a tap), but I haven't tested them in the snow or in a rainy day so far. The upper is really tall so it must be good for snow or some small puddles. The bad: it just doesn't feel supper durable, maybe because i like leather and there is a lot of plastic (or synthetic as they call). It's not supper breathable (I get swetty feet). Because the upper is so stiff, it folds in a wierd way when i walk and it hurts my shin at the base (but maybe that's just me). The size is right once I'm wearing them, but to put them on it's a battle (the tonge is sewed to the sides to be waterproof but it needed to have more fabric to give room for the foot to go in and out). I bought them on a clearance, paind around 60 bucks, so I'm happy with that. I wouldn't buy them for the normal price. I suggest trying before buying if you don't have free shipping to return. I don't care for camo and usually wear my workbooks for hunting, they're perfect.

Bought this boot in October 2019 and have used them extensively in the fall and winter. Pro's -true to size -very comfortable and very light, stand up to heavy use. Con's - in no way is this boot "waterproof" as claimed. They leak at the leather stitching (you'll see wet lines on your socks where the the stitching is) which is fairly low on the boot which happened soon after purchasing. They got a real test yesterday as I wore them ice fishing in a few inches of slush . The insides of the boot were wet within an hour. Too bad because other that that major flaw they are a nice boot.

Bought these boots for moose and deer hunting. Design flaw near inner ankle made for a painful moose hunt. Deer season wasn't much better as walking across a wet re-growth wheat field my feet felt wet when reaching my stand. Sure enough wet socks when getting home proved they had leaked! Returned to store.
