Best portable wireless doorbell

The speaker unit is not much bigger than a couple of decks of cards stacked so you can easily just bring it with you if working outside in the garden or deep in your basement. I got 2 speakers + 2 doorbell buttons for front door and back, paired them all together so both speakers make 1 chime for the front doorbell and a different chime for the back doorbell. The speaker volume is plenty loud but adjustable and can even flash a light when ringing. The thing I like most is this is a traditional but wireless, standalone doorbell system; it doesn't require wifi, data storage for video, or public cloud internet devices that may not always be audible inside your home. I've also seen it used as a front desk bell in businesses. We had one of these doorbell buttons that needed replacing and they can be purchased separately. We have not had much luck with video doorbells at all.

Easy set up. Flashing light in case you don’t hear bell. There are choices of bell sound which is nice & size is perfect. It too big.

A: I'm not too sure about that. Both units need batteries and even the best cold weather batteries, can fail, rendering the unit non operative. However, the unit works wonderfully indoors or in warmer conditions. I hope this helps you.

Q: What is the maximum distance door bell can be from the plug in?

A: There is nothing that plugs in. It’s wireless. I purchased it so that my ailing mother could reach me anywhere around the house. It has a decent range as I would take the base unit outside when I was gardening and never missed her trying to reach me. It’s completely battery operated. Hope this helps.
