Bought this heater a while ago really impressed with it

Does not produce a lot of heat

I have it less then 24 hours. It did not heat up very well. You had to be right in front of it to feel the heat

The quality issue is always the customer's concern
Helpful?

Weak fan. Output not as strong as advertised in product review.

The fan and heat is very weak. In Calgary’s winter if this is only heat source in small room it will not suffice.

Q: Some reviews say it is really quiet but also reviews of a great white noise to drown out neighbors. Is the fan only portion really quiet or would it be good as a white noise in summer

  • A: I have only used it in the winter, so I just tried it on fan only and its fairly quiet, could be a good white noise fan, but won't drown out noisy neighbours

Q: Does this heater have a three-prong plug?

  • A: This heater does not have a three-prong plug. It has a two-prong polarized plug, where one prong is larger than the other.

Q: How far does the heater blow heat? For example, will a person sitting 3 feet away from the heater feel warm air blowing against them? Thanks.

2 Answers
  • A: Yes we use ours mostly on the kitchen floor because we have a crawl space which makes a cold floor in the winter. You should feel the heat blow on you if only 3 to 5 feet away. We let it oscillate back and forth on the floor and I feel the warmth on my legs when I'm walking through to the fridge. It is also tip proof so it will auto shut off if if falls off a chair or counter.

  • A: Yes, it does have a fan only feature, but of course it only accelerates air, not cool it

Q: How long is the power cord? Can the fan blades be cleaned?

1 Answer
  • A: Power Cord is about 5 ft Not sure if you can clean the blades but I would imagine you could Unfortunately, my heater did not last a year and this is the second one that failed within a year and I only use it in my office in the winter and days I am in the office. So not even 90 days total within the year. I have now switched to a Lasko unit and so far so good.
