Hard As A Rock

I purchased this Hairball Remedy Plus
soft
I purchased this product today for my cat as he has been having hairballs. He tried to eat one and loved the taste but had trouble because the "Soft Chew" was anything but soft. Are all the Chews as hard as a rock or did I just get a stale package? Is there anything I can do to soften them up?

Made my cat sick

Introduced these treats to my cat, which he loved, but resulted in two days of dramatic vomiting and inability to hold down food. Took the treats away, vomiting ended. Looked online to see if they'd been recalled, but apparently not. Extreme adverse effect on my otherwise 3 y/o and healthy indoor, dlh

My cat loves these!

Been buying these for my cat, Zelda, for years now and she gets excited about them when it's time to give her some treats. She's a bit of a picky cat, so it was nice to see her love these so much.
It's also nice to have an option that's not in paste form. She seems to like the treats better as well. So it's a win win for both cat and humans.
Would definitely recommend these treats to friends and family.

Unusable or Unbeatable

When softened, these treats prove effective at aiding digestion and helping cats to pass hairball material before it becomes problematic. A major problem with the product is that it tends to harden within the packaging, often making them inedible. To remedy this, we keep the product in a sealed container with a contactless source of humidity, and the results are excellent: every cat we foster has improved digestion and can't wait to eat them each day.
