One of the best portable hoops available for your backyard.

I have put together products from Spalding, Lifetime and now this one. By far, the Goaliath was the easiest to assemble with instructions and parts all well detailed. The product is solid and straight, which the other products weren't. The baseboard has a nice touch and doesn't wobble after a shot. Now, it remains to be seen how well the hoops stands up over time but if it's assembly is any indicator, we're confident it will last a long time. A shout out to the store manager Tanya who helped me out after the issues I had with a Spalding purchase. Thanks for the help and great service.

It took me and my 13 year old son 3 hours to assemble. The system is great, it has amazing built quality and is very strong. I highly recommend this basketball system to you. It is way more better then the Spalding Acrylic Hercules Basketball system. Thanks

Solid Portable Hoop System

Son’s OBA season pretty much over due to this COVID crisis, gotta have backyard (or front yard bball. Upon reading different hoop systems reviews, I decided to get this Goliath system despite the heftier price tag. It turned out to be $100 off today upon picking up from Warden & Eglinton. Assembly was relatively easy. Materials are of great quality. Assembled product looks great, very solid for a portable system, even without the counter weight. Fairly easy to move with two people, wheel borrow system works great. Height adjustment is very easy. Ball rebound is decent on the back board and on the rim. Only wish was more overhang for better under basket play. Overall a great product.

Q: A previous question asked about leaving it outside in Ontario winter. Are there any precautions that need to be taken if the wheels and base is 3/4 filled with water as per manufacturer instructions? Does water need to be drained?

A: You don't have to drain the water but it is suggested that you add a bottle of antifreeze to prevent the base from cracking over the cold months.

A: We don’t recommend dunking on the system. If there is too much weight on the front end of the rim, they could tip over. Any damage occurred during this time, would not be covered under the warranty.
