Great gadget

Like these, I have many of them. Reliable and schedules work great. The quick connect rarely works though, but I've gotten used to connecting the devices the manual way and that always seems to work. Once it's setup they are very reliable and they even hold the programmed schedule if not powered for months. They work in the cold weather too, I use one in the garage.

Q: Can the app be used with a TV where it allows power (TV can be turned on and off with the TV remote) during the day, but does not allow power (TV cannot be turned on and off) during the night?

A: you would shut down power to the outlet, that would cut off the power to the TV, until you turn the power on again to the outlet. you can schedule the times the out let is on and off.

A: Yes Dave it does. You configure the plug using the Geeni app, which entails registering the plug with an account with Geeni. Once this is done, open Google Home, select 'Add', 'Set up device', 'Works with Google', then there's a whole list of companies to chose from that work with Google Home - including Geeni. Select Geeni, enter the credentials you used for registering the device with Geeni, and then it can be controlled as a device within Google Home.
