This GE Silicone II Window & Door Sealant in clear is a high-performance, 100% silicone solution for protecting spots that endure harsh weather. Ideal for exteriors, the sealant is rain ready in 30 minutes and offers protection against mould and mildew growth. It’s 40% more flexible than Class 25 sealants and has 5X stronger adhesion than GE Silicone 1, while remaining low in odour thanks to its neutral-cure formula that won't discolour most high-end metal finishes. 2 years agoA: Thank you for the question. The answer is no. GE Advanced Silicone 2 Window and Door Sealant is not paintable, however, we do offer paintable GE sealants if you ever need one for your project.

Q: Can this be used indoors?
4 years agoA: Yes it can. That said it is a solvent based product just like GE Silicone Kitchen & Bath so the area needs to be well ventilated.

Q: Can I use this to glue glass to glass (aquarium) and do I need a caulk gun?
14 years agoA: This product is not recommended for use with aquariums. A caulking gun is required for this product.

Q: coverage how many average doors can it seal?
16 years agoA: It’s an average of 2 doors per cartridge. A 3/16th inch bead will extrude ~ 50 linear feet per caulker.
