Just awful ,has the density and porosity of wet chalk ..not ideal when trying to touch up a small space where being water tight and easily washable is a top priority. Product should be removed from shelf it's clearly way past its shelf life. I really enjoyed having to reprep area so I can put real sealant on the tub

Takes 48 hrs to dry and needs tape, otherwise good

CONS: 1. You will need tape. In fact, thick tape, as I still had some wispy bits where the tape didn't cover. 2. Does not dry in 6-8 hrs, more like 48, as I could still easily scrape off wispy bits after 24 hrs, but not 48. PROS: 1. Seems to dry solid after 48 hrs. 2. Pretty easy, if you use thick tape. 3. Someone said the applicator isn't a right angle and thus poorly designed. This person did not read the instructions on the box, which clearly state to angle the tube so it fits in the wall.

A: If you are asking how to remove the ReNew sealant then, as it has silicone properties in it and it’s covering an old silicone already, then a silicone removal product is needed. If you are asking about removing old silicone before applying this product, removal of old silicone isn’t needed. This goes over old silicone.
