These are definitely shatterproof, but not unbreakable. Two of the large ornaments had large dents straight out of the box. One is only dented on one side so I can hide it on the back of the tree, but the other is has two dents - one opposite from the other so no hiding that. Bit disappointing. Besides that, they're fine & look good on the tree.
