Excellent for cleaning air of smoke particles!

I purchased these filters for the purpose of building a box fan air purifier, and once built, I was able to confirm an air quality improvement from 65 to 6 AQI in about 45 minutes for a large space, measured by a high quality meter from IQ Air. These filters worked very well for the purpose!

These filters do a great job of trapping dust. I buy mine on sale and change them every 3 or 4 months during heating and air conditioning seasons. The media is dark grey when I change the filter.
