Great product

I have not figured everything out just yet. I wish I could create zones. But it's not a show stopper. It does send me notifications away from the home router. I can watch historical events or manually record one. Probably handy when you want to make sure. The video quality is good. I did not receive surprised subscriptions. I see that eufi does offer more products. Who knows, there might be something that will help out.

The camera does not pair with higher speed internets.

Disappointing camera, the camera would not pair up with my high speed internet. For a camera with this price tag you’d think this wouldn’t be an issue.

This is a very good camera. I have these cameras already that I purchased online. Very clear video quality. Solar and holds a good charge. In the winter there was only 2 times I took it down to give it a manual charge. Mostly because in the winter the sun does not hit long enough where I have it. I am going to C.Tire to get this one to add to the ones I have. They can all be viewed on the app. Lots of preferred settings to help you get the security coverage area.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Reliable with no wires!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is pretty cool. The sun charges it and it seems to have lasted pretty well even with days of overcast weather. We tested it out in our kitchen and it picked up our movement every time someone walked by it and sent an altert so I think it is pretty accurate and reliable.

My family has been avid Ring users for years, but upon receiving this camera , it’s made me rethink about using Ring. Eufy’s clarity in both day/night vision are unmatched. The 360 view is next level. Connection is spot on, with no interference during weather events. Absolutely recommend

Q: Does the camera record without wifi? Can the wifi on the camera be turned off? Can the images be downloaded directly to a computer without wifi through the use of a cable? We use the ethernet. We don't have wifi.

A: The Eufy SoloCam S340, also known as the SoloCam S40, is designed to withstand heavy rain and snow with its IP67 waterproof rating. However, for Canadian winters or other regions with extreme cold, it’s important to note that the device's operating temperature range is -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C). If the temperature drops below -20°C, the built-in lithium-ion battery may temporarily stop functioning. The camera will automatically resume working once the temperature rises and falls back within the operating range. Additionally, cold weather can affect the sensitivity of the Passive Infrared (PIR) motion detection sensor. To counter this, increasing the motion detection sensitivity level during winter is recommended. Ensure the camera receives sufficient direct sunlight each day (at least 2 hours) for its built-in solar panel to maintain its battery life effectively, as sunlight availability may vary during winter months in Canada.
