Q: In the Features it says: Ultimate Electrostatic. But in Specification says: Non-Electrostatic?

A: The Ultimate Trim to Fit Hammock air filter is indeed an electrostatically charged media. In the specification under Filter System, this a default setting to indicate it is a flat filter opposed to pleated that includes non-electrostatic verbiage. I will address your concern with the retailer to have it changed in their system.

A: The Ultimate Electrostatic Hammock filter would significantly reduce airflow if used as an air vent filter. We would not recommend it for this application.

Q: Ultimate Duststop Air Filter- Would this product perhaps be washable, as it appears that it may be. If so, would this affect the electrostatic property of this item? And as well, how would this washing take place- hand wash in sink, or washing machine etc.?

A: This filter has not been designed or tested as a washable filter. If you do try to wash and reuse I would recommend completely drying the product before reinstalling in the furnace. I would also recommend watching it closely after it is installed to make sure it is working.

Air Conditioner Filter

I use these on the air conditioners in my kennel. I just use masking tape on the 4 corners to hold them on. In the summer, they get washed and re-used every other day. The amount of "stuff" they keep from going into the works of the aycees is amazing. They dry in no time and last forever.

Dust stop filter

Hard to find a product like this. I use it as a layer for my permanent ‘plastic” firm 1/2 “thick filter. Does a much better job of catching the dust. Easy to clean as I just toss the dust stop filter when it’s time for a change. Easy to cut to size using the permanent filter as a template. Please don’t discontinue carrying this product. Get three layers out of the hammock filter. Anonymous
