    DeWalt oscillating tool.

    I had an old off brand oscillating tool that was quite underpowered I decided to upgrade. I'm glad I made this purchase I like the toolless blade change the additional power and the outstanding value of this purchase thank you.

    Way Less Vibration Than the Cordless Version

    When I have to use a multitool for an extended period of time on a project at home, I prefer to use this one. My hand doesn't go numb! My only complaint is the cord length. I do wish it was longer. Otherwise, this is a solid mutlitool.

    I had a problem shortly after I bought the tool where it no longer would turn on. I assumed it was just a bad electrical connection. I sent it in to be repaired... and got it back and it worked great. Then at the 3 yr 2 month point it something broke internally. The motor runs, but it does not vibrate/oscillate. I assume the shaft to the motor broke ...but it could be anything in there. Unfortunately, it is past warranty... by 2 months. So very disappointed. Should I by another dewalt? I am very reluctant. But I need an oscillating tool.

    I bought this as I wasn't able to find the blades for the Master Mechanic I have. Even though I had to purchase a blade for cutting concrete siding, it worked flawlessly. My only complaint, is that the quick release spring is nice, but when you have arthurites in the wrist, it makes it difficult to compress, hold and swap out the blades. But then so does using the allen wrench required with the MM tool.
