Rust after two years

I like my Coleman revolution bbq but so far I have to replace the top grills every two years due to rust.
I’ve had bbq my whole life with cast iron grills and never had an issue.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. Please Note: Seasoning is an ongoing process that is required at the start and finish of each cook. It is not just a process that is performed before the first use. The appearance of rust means seasoning has worn off, has not been applied, or the cooking grates have been stored/not used for long periods.
Why Seasoning is Required:
Seasoning cast iron cooking grates improves cooking performance, creates a non-stick surface for cooking, prevents damage and deterioration due to moisture and humidity, and extends the life of your cooking grates.
Tips: With continued use of your cooking grates, the seasoning bond will get better and better. Applying a coating of oil at the start and finish of each cook, will help to maintain seasoning. Never use soap to clean the cooking grates, this will destroy the seasoning. Hope this helps!
