Read 10 year warranty closely

Buyer Beware ! 10 year warranty is actually 2 years parts and labor and the remaining 8 years is parts only. I Purchased 8.5 KW SB generator in April 2023 and installation was completed September 2023. September 2025 starter failed which resulted in excessive over cranking which killed both batteries. New starter provided on warranty however I will need to install it as there is no authorized repair agent in B.C.. Ran well first two years and will now see if new starter solves start up issues. I need a reliable power backup to run my furnace, sump pump, well pump, and septic system while I am there and when traveling !!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Perfect generator for our needs

So happy to get this installed. We put this in to maintain a sump pump during power outages, but glad to also have furnace, hot water and kitchen. No more panicking when the power goes out. The option for a smaller size meant it was also less expensive than those massive 22 kw units. Love that it is quieter than other generators.

Q: i am looking to install this unit with out going to my meter base like a stand alone and manully start is it possible to do this
