The Champion 4000W/5000W Tri Fuel Portable Generator offers flexible fuel options, allowing you to use natural gas, propane, or gasoline. It's easy to start with an electric switch and comes equipped with essential accessories for convenience.
Operates on natural gas, propane, or gasoline for added versatility
Natural gas and propane hoses are included so the unit is ready to run on any fuel right out of the box
Power up the 224cc Champion engine with the handy rocker switch, battery included
Track voltage, frequency, session run time, and total run time, plus the UL-recognized sensor uses an LED to indicate CO shutoff or fault
5000 starting watts and 4000 running watts on gasoline
4500 starting watts and 3600 running watts on propane
4050 starting watts and 3240 running watts on natural gas

Great generator

I found the generator to be fairly portable considering it’s size as the wheels helped. It has been a reliable model that offers different fuel options. I would say I am happy with my purchase as it filled my need for keeping my house safe when power goes out and my overall stress during challenging times!

My house lost power and in the morning I ran to the hardware store to get any generator I could find. When I arrived I read a few specs on other generators until I saw this one. I brought it home and in minutes my freezer and fridge were cooling with power. It was an easy set up and a very clean and powerful machine. I would highly recommend this machine.

Q: Does this generator automatically switch fuel sources when one is depleted?

A: Hello, we do apologize, but this unit will not automatically switch between fuel sources. You will have to watch your fuel levels, safely disconnect all loads and shut the unit down, and restart the unit on the opposite fuel source and reconnect the load. Q: How do you keep electronics safe if they are powered by this generator? Will a simple power bar with surge protector do the trick? Anyone know?

A: Hello Helen, depending on your power needs, all our generators produce a standard Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) rating of 12% to 20%, depending on the load applied. This is perfectly acceptable for running common household items such as TVs, computers, and appliances. If you have a specific device that requires less than 3% THD, such as a UPS-style battery or a high-efficiency furnace control board, we recommend considering our inverter generators. Thank you.
