Works well, I don’t get anywhere close to the range but it does work better than the original As a hint, if you have had issues with the original remote you may need to press the button for a little longer but it does work! Be patient

Q: Will this work with an older Craftsman by Chamberlain, manufactured Dec 1992 model 139.18415. Just moved. And there are no remotes for the garage door opener.

Q: whats the range for this remote? whats the furthest you can be at while opening door?

A: The range can be up to 100ft depending on the unit you are communicating with (the frequency range it is operating on,) and any interference at that frequency. However, in the manual there are warnings that state you are only to activate the door when it can be clearly seen, and should be in sight when closing to prevent any serious injuries.
