You can’t see inside due to solid black if a mouse is inside and when you open the lid to check the mouse escapes It needs a little clear window My cat ended up catching the mouse

In my opinion, this trap s useless. Following instructions, it has been in place for 2 weeks in a location where I know there is mouse traffic. In fact, I have caught 2 mice in the same location during this period using conventional spring traps. I stopped using the spring traps a few days ago and still no success with this trap.

Q: Does it kill the mice or is it live release?

A: Hi Bubbie, the trap can be used as a live trap if you decide to not use the included glue board. If you decide to use without the glue board, we recommend frequently monitoring the multi-catch trap and remove/release the rodent(s) as soon as they are trapped inside the trap. Q: How do you check the trap without letting the mice escape?

A: HI Willy, thank you for your feedback. If you decide to use the trap as a live catch then we suggest that when you suspect there is a rodent inside the trap, proceed in placing the trap in a box and take out side of your home to verify if there is a rodent. Rodents make noise and that would alert you if there are any inside the trap. If you have any further questions please contact us directly at info@catchmaster.com
