Great Realistic Artificial Tree

Bought this for my dad and it was a huge hit. The tree looks nice and full (which is what we wanted) and has bendable metal branches hidden behind more realistic branches so the tree looks as authentic as possible. The lights also look great!

I bought this and had to return it, once I opened it and put it together the lights wouldn't work on it, returned it for a refund. I figured buying a more expensive tree would avoid that problem but no.

Q: When I cut the electricity to the tree, the lights on the bottom-most part remain open and gradually turn off. The lights on the upper two thirds of the tree shut off immediately. Is this normal or is it a defect?

Q: No matter how much I tighten the eye bolts, the tree still wiggles when assembled. Is there a way to fix this?

A: If you tighten the eye bolts in the tree stand too much, you may risk stripping the threads of the screw. You only need to tighten the 3 eye bolts enough so that they touch the tree trunk pole, and adjust each bolt if tree is not straight. The purpose of the 3 eye bolts is to make the tree stands straight and keep the tree in the stand. It is normal for the tree to wiggle a little if you shake it, just like any real tree would. If you want the tree to wiggle less, you can tighten the pole connection between the tree sections by putting tape around the metal pole before connecting each tree section, but if the connection is too tight, it would be hard to disassemble the tree.
