Looks great but not durable

I own three of these chairs. They look great in my home but two of them have now broken -- the cross piece on the metal frame detached. I had a friend weld the first one (for free) and now I took the second one to a local welder. He charged more than buying a new chair!!

"Decorative" max weight 100Kg

I purchased these a few days ago and they are starting to show wear and tear immediately. Do not stack these chairs ever! The black paint scratches off the legs at the stacking points and the wood top dent very easily. Please note the weight limit warning of 100 kg on these and warning label. Good news is that if the screws are secure, you are on level ground and under 100kg it will work as a stool without injury. .
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Contrary to the listing description and some who have responded to questions about height, these Axel stools are NOT counter height. They are Bar height and far too tall for a 36" counter.
