1. A handy little docking station for a laptop.

Q: Can I connect a USB extender to this? Would it damage the USB ports?

A: It won't "damage" the USB ports unless the device is defective. You can connect an external power supply (Supports up to 90 watts power delivery) to the USB-C port if for some reason the computer can't supply enough power to drive the devices you want connected to it.

Q: I use this for my Macbook. It only has 2 USB slots, but I want to extend it even more. Can I connect a USB extender to it? Or would it damage the port?

A: This device itself is a USB extender, and due to output loss, connecting to another USB extender will not be as good as using this product alone in terms of charging and data transfer. It is not recommended to connect a USB extender .

A: Hello, This unit can not allow for a video game input to play on the laptop monitor. Because the video transmission needs to be through the HDMI port, and the HDMI port on the laptop is the output port, can not input. And the HDMI port on this unit is also output port, you can output the video from your laptop to other monitors, but can not input to your laptop. Thank you.
