Q: I have a bottle. Is there a way to close the bottle after the cap unscrewed and applicator is cut? The cap has a big hole in the middle. Didn't plan to use all of it in one go.

A: Remove the cap, add a plastic layer of wrap and then reinstall the cap, or wrap with tape. This will seal it. The product will freeze and go bad, so beware of that too.

Q: How effective is this product without applying a coat of driveway sealer? Our driveway is only 5 years old but cracked from heaving.

A: Mine is much older and breaking down at edge in corner. I used a whole container of it as patch up and it was better than cold patch if.....you apply enough. Make sure you get the cracks.

Q: Contradictory info website details vs. container. "for filling cracks up to 1/4" (6 mm) wide in asphalt driveways". Yet the container states "flexes and seals cracks up to 3/4" wide (22mm)". So which is it, 6mm or 22mm? Is there a money back guarantee?

A: The driveway coating fills hairline cracks to 1/8 to 1/4”. For larger crack the liquid filler will fill up to 3/4”, and the caulking filler tube will fill up to 1”. Sorry for any confusion and hope that helps.

A: Thanks for your question. First, shake the sealed product very well. After that, unscrew the top and you'll see the spout inside. Just flip the spout over and cut it at a 45 degree angle. Q: can i put sand over it before it dry so it come almose the color of the tar

A: Thanks for your question. The sand would likely not hold. While the crack filler is black, your driveway will have color variation depending on when it was last sealed. Sealing your driveway would be the best option for a fresh, uniform finish. For best results, make sure you apply product in the morning hours on a warm clear day with plenty of sunshine so the product dries properly. Q: I filled in the two tire indentations with asphalt. They're nice and flat and solid. Can I use this product to seal them now? I don't want to buy a big tub of sealer. thanks.

A: No, this is a crack filler and meant to be protected by a driveway sealer, not used as one.
